Once bound to a sorcerer's will, these extraordinary entities possess an ethereal and shimmering form, translucent like a wisp, and adorned with faint arcane markings that trace the vestiges of their past servitude. Though no longer bound to a master, all Unfettered Familiar retain an aura of magical potency, hinting at the knowledge they once acquired in their time of servitude. They roam the many arcane laboratories found in Ker Nethalas, consumed by rage and hatred of all physical beings, making them terrible foes to encounter.
