Emperor Treasure Lamp
Massive gelatinous tentacled creatures with an angler fish-esque lamp appendix, the Emperor Treasure Lamp generally inhabits empty-looking rooms, covering the entire ceiling, walls, or floor and waiting for its victims to fall prey to the "lantern" and the small cache of treasure they collect as a lure. They have an extremely flexible gelatinous body, resembling a slime or jellyfish, and strong tentacles that seem to not be attached to the body at any fixed point. The smaller versions of this creature are simply called Treasure Lamps, which sometimes form colonies and appear as a treasure room upon entry, to many adventurers' demise. They generally attempt to consume their victims whole by "swallowing" or surrounding them to "drown" them inside their acidic bodies. If their prey manages to escape they move eerily quickly and somewhat erratically, making it difficult to escape.
