Description

The False Prophet is a sinister aberration of manifested chaos. From inside its nightmarish mask, its burning eyes pierce through shadows and ensnare the unwary. Like many other Overseers, its powers transcend mortal understanding, and it uses its powerful psychic influence to twist the minds of its victims and appears to distort the flow of time itself. Confronting The False Prophet feels like fighting the very boundaries of perception, questioning reality as time slows to a crawl and truth fades into shadow.

Roll: 1

The False Prophet targets a creature it can see, attempting to warp its mind with psychic energy. The target must succeed on a Resolve check or take D10 Psychic damage and be Stunned until the end of their next turn.

Temporal Distortion(Magical)

Roll: 2

The False Prophet manipulates the flow of time in the area, forcing creatures to make a Resolve check. On a failed check, any physical action they attempt suffers a cumulative -10. A Resolve check can be attempted at the start of every round to get rid of this effect.

Eldritch Gaze(Magical)

Roll: 3

The False Prophet fixes its burning gaze upon a target, who must pass a Resolve check or suffer D10 Psychic damage and be Frightened for D4 rounds.

Reality Shatter(Magical)

Roll: 4

The False Prophet tears at the fabric of reality itself, causing a violent disruption in the area. Each creature must make a Dodge check, taking 2D6 Bludgeoning damage on a failed check, or D6 damage on a successful one.

Temporal Blink(Magical)

Roll: 5

The False Prophet shifts out of phase with reality, becoming ethereal until the start of its next turn. While ethereal, it's impervious to non-magical attacks.

Twisted Prophecy(Magical)

Roll: 6

The False Prophet chants a cryptic prophecy that targets the minds of all creatures. Each creature must Resolve check or lose 1 Sanity and become Stunned for D4 rounds.
